Responsibilities
– Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of a scalable data platform infrastructure.
– Support the implementation of standardized metadata, access protocols, and discovery mechanisms for the Data Discovery Layer.
– Contribute to ensuring data reliability by participating in data quality checks and validation processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to address any concerns.
– Explore and learn about new big data technologies and software engineering tools to contribute to the enhancement of the existing data platform.
– Work closely with the engineering team to contribute to the overall improvement of the data platform.
– Monitor data infrastructure and ingestion processes, aiming to minimize detection and recovery time from incidents to meet agreed SLAs and SLOs.
– Contribute to the automation of common data requests, focusing on creating a self-service data platform.
– Document data process flow, data platform, and infrastructure with guidance and support from the team.
Qualifications
– Fields of study are Computer Science related.
– Passionate and knowledgeable about big data stacks.
– Have fast learning capability and natural curiosity about big data.
– Able to own mistakes, reflect, and take feedback with maturity and a willingness to improve.
– Hands-on experience in SQL and programming languages: Python, Java, or Go.
– Able to implement OOP design pattern.
– Comfortable to use LINUX/UNIX environment.
– Database (Relational & NoSQL): PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
